4月19日、山口維新百年記念公園 大昇アリーナで開催された山口県道場少年剣道大会に、小学生10名、中学生6名で参加しました。
今大会では、それぞれが日頃の稽古の成果を発揮しようと、最後まで全力で試合に臨みました。
結果は、個人戦小学生高学年の部でAさんがベスト8に入賞しました。
また、低学年は惜しくも代表戦で敗れ、あと一歩のところで決勝トーナメント進出を逃しました。高学年、中学生もそれぞれ健闘しましたが、惜しくも全国大会出場には届きませんでした。
悔しさの残る結果ではありましたが、この経験を次につなげ、また日々の稽古にしっかりと励んでいきたいと思います。

We Participated in the Yamaguchi Prefecture Dojo Youth Kendo Tournament
On April 19, we participated in the Yamaguchi Prefecture Dojo Youth Kendo Tournament held at Daisho Arena in Yamaguchi Ishin 100th Memorial Park, with 10 elementary school students and 6 junior high school students.
In this tournament, every member gave their all and fought to show the成果 of their daily training until the very end.
As a result, A won a place in the Best 8 in the upper elementary school individual division.
Our lower elementary school team narrowly lost in the representative match and just missed advancing to the final tournament. The upper elementary school and junior high school members also fought bravely, but unfortunately did not qualify for the national tournament.
Although the result was frustrating, we would like to learn from this experience and continue working hard in our daily practice.
